Let’s get together to cultivate our Reiki practices and revitalize our Mind-Body-Spirits during these stressful times.
Live Remote Zoom Reiki Gakkai Practice Afternoon Sunday, July 26th, 2020 1:00 to 4:00 pm, Fee: $30 * This virtual event will be easy to set up and attend for anyone with a computer!
An empowering 3-hour gathering of Reiki Level II and III Practitionersfor developing their Ki and expressing their Great Bright Light.
Facilitated by Lou Orsan, Usui Reiki Shihan
Join your Reiki Level II and Level III Practitioner colleagues for a remote practice meeting as we immerse ourselves in traditional Japanese Reiki teachings and deepen our connection to universal life energy.
We will work with the Five Elements of the traditional Japanese System of Reiki. I believe the format is very similar to the way Usui intended it, primarily focusing on spiritual self-development of the student with the goal of attaining Satori or Enlightenment (expressing our True Self - our Great Bright Light!).
As facilitator, I will guide you through all of the techniques and meditations we will use. That way you will feel comfortable - even if you haven’t learned some of them in your Reiki trainings.
Our remote group Gakkai practice afternoon will include:
1.) Kenyoko Ho, a dry energetic bathing technique to cleanse the Mind-Body-Spirit 2.) brief check-in and personal setting of intent what you would like from Reiki during the next three hours.
3.) chanting of one of the Reiki Mantras (Jumon) 4.) group reciting of the Five Reiki Precepts 5.) a reading to reflect on from Frans Stiene’s book, Reiki Insights (at this point off his meetings, Usui Sensei recited and had his students contemplate Waka - poetry by the Japanese Emperor Meiji) 6.) Reiki Shower - a technique to purify Mind-Body-Spirit and increase the flow of Reiki through you, around you and as you 7.) Hatsurei Ho - a meditation for generating greater amounts of spiritual energy (this is a Usui foundation technique which combines the Joshin Kokyu Ho and Seishin Toitsu breathing meditations) 8.) receiving Reiju (attunement) to clear and open the energy channel along the spine (a remote Reiju will provide benefits similar to Distance Reiki healing because we are all connected in energy) 9.) The meeting will end with all of us collectively giving ourselves a 20-minute Reiki Self-Treatment in a space of non-duality oneness (Usui had his students practice Shuchu Reiki at this point (concentrated Reiki with multiple practitioners offering Reiki to one recipient)
